Dual Problems
These problem sections use a new concept of "duality." There are two of each problem type, one (odd-numbered) to use as an assignment, the other (even-numbered), or dual, with the answer provided at the back of the problem manual. Each pair of problems are very similar with respect to the work or procedure required, but resistor values or other items are different. This format has been tested and found to be extremely well-received by students. Students are usually doing problems at home, and they can be quite frustrated by having a problem when no one is around to help. With this format, students can try doing the dual problem if they are not sure of their own solution to the assigned problem. When students obtain the correct answer for the dual problem, they receive positive reinforcement that they have done the assigned problem correctly.
Answer Manual for Teaching Staff
The first part of the answer manual lists answers for all problems (odd and even), on pages numbered by section in the same manner as the problem manual itself. The second part of the answer manual shows solutions for all odd-numbered problems. Because of the dual nature of the problems, it would be wasteful to provide detailed solutions to every problem. Since answers for all even-numbered problems are included in the problem manual, solutions for all odd-numbered problems are provided for instructors. Obviously, these are the problems which will be given to students as assignments, so this should be the most useful format for instructors. Solutions which are overly simple (like 10 k // 33 k) are not provided in detail. For these cases, only the answer is listed.

The Answer Manual
The custom answer manual (free if problem manual is adopted) includes answers for all problems as well as worked solutions for odd-numbered problems. The odd-numbered problems are the ones usually used for assignments by teaching staff since answers to even-numbered problems are included in the student's edition.
The Format
All manuals are printed on standard 8 1/2" by 11" bond and are coil bound.
Any Drawbacks?
The only drawback to custom printing is that you cannot return unsold copies, so you should be careful to order just the number of copies required. If you need more copies, small re-orders can usually be printed and shipped within 48 hours. There are no other drawbacks!
