We want to give you information about our privacy policy and assure you that we take reasonable steps to see that it is followed within our company.
At Formulations we are committed to respecting your privacy and recognize your need for appropriate protection and management of information you share with us which includes any information by which you can be identified, such as name, address, and telephone number. That is why Formulations has established this privacy policy, so that you can understand the care with which we intend to treat your information.
In general, you can visit <formulations.ab.ca> without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. We do not track the Internet address of the domains from which people visit us. Cookies are identifiers which a web site can send to your browser to keep on your computer to facilitate your next visit to that site. Our web pages do not utilize cookies.
CHOICE
There are times when we may request information from you. You have the option not to provide the information. If you choose not to provide the information we request, you can still visit most of the <formulations.ab.ca> web site, but you may be unable to access certain options, offers, and services.
ACCURACY & SECURITY
We will do our best to maintain the accuracy of information you supply to us. We will take appropriate steps to protect the information you share with us from unauthorized access or disclosure.

We support current industry initiatives to preserve individual privacy rights on the Internet. Personal data privacy is a new and evolving area, and Formulations Media Inc. is evolving to meet these demands. WHAT WE COLLECT
CUSTOM LAB MANUALS, PROBLEM MANUALS AND TEXT MANUALS: We collect names, addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses and college affiliations of those who request quotations for custom laboratory manuals or custom problem manuals. We also collect the same data for college bookstores which order custom manuals. We add individuals to our lists from publicly-available sources such as Internet college faculty sites.
NAVAID: We compile mailing lists from individuals who respond to our advertising related to our software products. We also collect similar information from publicly-available sources.
NEWSPAPER PUZZLES: We
compile mailing lists from individuals who respond to our advertising
related to our various newspaper puzzle products. We also collect
similar information from publicly-available sources.
WHAT WE DO WITH IT
We use address lists to send advertising to those individuals who have indicated an interest in custom manuals, newspaper puzzles, or software products. We send advertising only to those who we sincerely believe will be interested in our products. We will not under any circumstances allow our mailing lists to be used or accessed by any individuals or companies outside of Formulations Media Inc. We will not under any circumstances sell, barter, trade or otherwise transfer our mailing lists to any other individuals or companies. We do not engage in bulk e-mailing activities or telephone solicitation as we rely on mailed advertising and word-of-mouth to inform our potential customers.
OPT-OUT POLICY
Upon request, we will remove any individual's name and associated information from all databases or lists maintained by Formulations Media Inc.
